FINALLY

Today, I utter the words FINALLY
Today, I decided to be and not just be a being

Today, I set sail to channel a chain reaction
An explosive ploy for the greater good
To make a resounding difference, finally!

Finally, I will the power of change
Finally, I uphold the will to not be chained
Finally, I activate my will to love

Like the dove, I am meek and warm
My actions would be the mandate from this point onwards
As I rise above mediocre

Finally, my delusions will be ensued with clarity
Finally, I have embraced responsibility
Finally, I beget wisdom
Wisdom to enrich, to not only fill my pocket,
but to also fill pockets

Finally,
I have become a change agent

By design, I've chosen to live differently
Mediocrity is not my daily driver

I continue to strive, a better way to live
