LET'S PRAY
Rude awakening
To the days that I set sail
To the hopes that I might fail
To the days that I will pray
For a win
That won’t be another whim away
So, I say hey!
Good times,
for the days that I hope that I lasted heyday
To live life
And hope that I may weigh
Into
the ideas of living
Like I got my days made
Two times for the moment
I hope you understand
That pains wane.
…
Joy comes in the morning
And I rejoice as the days came
Heeding the warnings
That the Lord keeps resounding
In my heart’s way
So, let’s PRAY.
Father,
Be my guide in all my days.
That I will be in truce with what you’ve set before me, that I will not put forward myself before thee, that in all my actions I wholeheartedly mirror thee, that Christ in me is not just the ideas propagated for pleasantries, but the total semblance of whom I be.
AMEN.
