SHADOWBOXING DILEMMA

--

A conservative who’s rather unconservative,
mildly assuring the manner
at which one approaches the things life be binding.

Bended knees,
remedies all of the telling ills;
Make a fill,

to the one that could be running lean,
Hopefully no tragedies to the heel;
Good Lord, Big NO(s) to Achilles deals;
Death, to the ones that always feel,
but never heal.

Choked up by paranoia,
therapy’s the outlier,
basking and dancing but never hearing the mass choir.

Vanity seems like the better world ought to be toured;
Casting crowns to the side cause we don’t stop yearning for more,
then at the end of every pour,
it’s all back to the square ball.

Shadowboxing Dilemma,
I’m counting on the punches I’d deliver.
