THE CALLBACK

It is yet another lost charter...

Fuzzy it felt;
My heart clenched at every thought of losing,
that which I held in high esteem

Giving me reasons to worry
Even though I knew I wasn’t in such a hurry.

I wrestled, tore every bit of my vessel
I tried to settle, even after realising
There was but no option than to let YOU.

It was a call-back;
A call back to redemption,
A call back to caution.

Young KING, you are losing your way again!
I ordained you for exploits in righteousness;
But you’ve gone again to wallow in unrighteousness,
I gave you the prize to know how to better serve me;
But you began to wander off, yet again.

I had to call you back.

I hear your cry; I know your heart
And what it desires
I want what you want too
But you’ve gone and gotten distracted,
You lost sight of purpose.

This call-back
Is with hope that you stay on track
That you don’t lose sight of destiny

Make this lap count
Don’t lose sight of the prize again, KING.
